For outdoor types the beach is handy, and access to the Downs is quick and easy by car or bus for walking, picnics and pub lunches. You will find a picnic hamper provided.Vibrant St. James Street is just around the corner, the beach, clubs, the Lanes and Brighton Royal Pavilion are virtually on your doorstep. Although you are right in the centre of the action, you are perched high above it all with a great feeling of privacy. All you need for a great holiday is within a two minute walk, yet you are at the hub of local transport – try the open top bus to Devils Dyke or Ditchling Beacon.ParkingAs this property is located in the centre of Brighton & Hove it unfortunately does not come with parking. Brighton’s excellent public transport system (see below) allows easy and affordable travel throughout the City and East Sussex. For this reason the majority of guests park in a permit free zone and access their car only when needed.Pay and display bays around Brighton & Hove are approximately £1 an hour 8am – 8pm.Resident bays and Pay and display bays are free to park after 6pm or 8pm depending on the zone.Day passes can be purchased for the majority of car parks from £8 a day, with some car parks offering FREE evening parking.
